Boy her dumplings were bad. But dad always said that they were good. Every time we went somewhere we had to stop and talk to the babies, Dad was just as bad as Mom was about this. Remember the meal we called slumgullon (?). It was good, but what was in it? Fo you remember the Halloween she made stew in the hollowed out pumpkin shell? It was not a hit. Maybe the secret to her cooking was she was not afraid to try new things. I miss her too.Froggy
Slumgullion was made with okra and that was why I did not like it. The pumpkin stew in a shell did not turn out too good, but she followed the recipe she was given so I don't think that was her fault!
