Happy because they are home from the vet. Where they were pronounced healthy. Mags got her rear end squashed, Frasier had his ears checked. His ears look ok for now, but he'll probably have another ear infection in the future because of his track record. But he looks good for now. And the vet said something that we had already suspected - Frasier is probably part Coyote. (But not chupacabra!) They don't have to go back for another year, or until Mags starts dragging her behind again.
Maggie weighs 32 pounds, we were thinking that she looked a little smaller but she has gained. No idea how, she doesn't get too many treats beyond lettuce & ice cubes and she runs constantly. We feed them a good quality food. She'd probably be 40 pounds if she wasn't so active! Frasier weighed in at 62 pounds, which is about what he normally is.
It's very windy today. We have a high wind warning. I had a difficult drive home because of the wind. And we have two more limbs down in the front yard. That makes three this week. (Later update: It turned out to be 3 down today, which makes 4 this week.)
We also could get "bumpy" weather tonight. It's pretty late in the spring for bad storms, but we have a good chance tonight. Lovely!
At least tomorrow is Friday. That's always a good thing. Otter will be going to work with me tomorrow, then if the weather is decent we might look at yard sales before we go to the grocery store. Yard sale season is just starting here, we've been to a few but haven't seen a lot yet. But it's just now time for them. Which is fine with me! Yard sales are fun, at least to shop at - we probably won't have any more.
Maggie is parked in the floor, she's just laying there and sighing every so often. I think she wants my attention now. Frasier was here a minute ago, but he's wandered off. He's probably on his blanket in the living room, having another nap. They snooze a lot. Those two dogs have got it made, I hope that they know that. Gotta go play with a dog now.
