Sunday Potato Soup

Always good for what ails you!

Also, what we had for lunch today and will probably also have for supper.  It's the first real food Otter's had since Friday night.  She said it was very good.  She's also had plenty of water and sprite, as well as some of the bread I made yesterday.

Otter's still sick, obviously.  But she's doing much better.  She had 100 degrees temperature this morning but she's now back to normal.  She still feels cruddy, she's coughing & sneezing and still has asthma issues.  But the fever is gone and she isn't complaining about that.  She's in her bed at the moment, with her laptop open and I think she's working on her research paper that has to be emailed to the teacher today.  This particular teacher always has them email their stuff in on Sundays.

After the potato soup, Bill spent about an hour unclogging the kitchen sink.  He thinks that I didn't use enough water when I ran the disposal to get rid of the potato peelings.  He got it unclogged, but it took a lot of work.  We have not had any problems with the disposal, but it is the one that was here when we moved in.  Which has been over 6 years, so it's had a lot of use.

It's a really nice day today.  It's cool but not overly so, and it's sunny.  I might have to get out in the back yard and play with the dogs.  We were going to have a beagle wash, but that's been put off until I have help.  Dog's like a greased pig when she's wet!
