As many of you are aware, I have a very close friend named Virginia. Virginia is really more like a sister than a friend, we are that close. She has had more than her share of tragedies. In the last 5 years, she has lost her father, her daughter and her husband. She is raising her three grandchildren on her own as their father (her son-in-law) has abandoned them. Last night, her mother passed away. Her mother had been ill with dementia and the family knew that it was coming, but they thought that it would still be several months. However, last night God took her home. While we are all happy that she is now free from illness and confusion, it is very hard on Virginia and her family to cope with. I would like to request prayers for Virginia and the family. They need our prayers very badly.
