It's Sunday. We shopped. We're shopped out. My feet hurt and so do Otter's. But she's got several new shirts and some belts that she needed. No luck on jeans or skirts, or dressy shirts. But she scored quite a haul so she's not complaining. Bill's got new jeans, which are in the washing machine at the moment. No new shoes for anybody, but we did try. I haven't added up what we spent, but it is probably less than last year.
It rained! It rained! It rained! Yesterday. Not sure how much, but it was really hot and the rain dropped the temperature down to where it was actually comfortable last night. The Tulsa area had some bad wind that caused some severe problems, but we mostly got rain. It's cloudy today and there were a few sprinkles on the car just now, but I'm not sure if we're actually going to get anymore rain this weekend or not. Yesterday's was nice.
Among other activities today, Bill replaced the brakes in my car. They were starting to get iffy and started squeaking Friday. So he replaced them after we got home from church today. I'm going to need new tires sometime before winter sets in. If this summer ever ends, that is.
Not much else going on around here. I think we're going to have hamburgers and corn on the cob for dinner. Really exciting, huh!
