I never did get my flag out yesterday, it was supposed to rain. It did eventually rain, but not until after dark. But it was very windy!
Today was cold, it was not quite as cold as the forecast said but it was still cold. It was supposed to be in the 30's, snow & ice all day. It was in the 40's when we got up this morning, it did get to the high 30's and there was a small snow/sleet spell in the late morning. But then it quit and it warmed back up to the 40's. We still brought in firewood, it's cold enough!
Otter is pretty much over the flu she had last week, but she's skipping karate tonight. But she should be able to go on Wednesday.
This is a short blog, I'm on my way to the kitchen in a few minutes. Gonna make chili! (Which is a good meal for tonight, but Mom made it all year round. It's just as good when the weather is hot as it is when the weather is cold).
