Today is the day we officially remember all of our Veterans. But we should do that every day, not just today. Memorial Day is set aside to honor & remember those who have gone on. But today is to remember & honor all of them, living or dead.
It's impossible to name all the Veterans in the family, but as always first and foremost:
THANKS DAD.
Thanks Grandpa/Opa.
Thanks Grandpa/Opa.
Also, grateful thanks to Uncle Crazy and Toadles.
If you get a chance, thank a Veteran. All it takes is a simple phrase "Thank you for your service." They'll know what you mean. And it will mean a great deal to them, possibly even more than you might realize.

the school I subbed at yesterday had a great Veterans Day program. The kids sang each one of the military songs, Star Spangled Banner, America The Beautiful and then showed pictures of many of the Veterans related to the kids, teachers, etc at the school. It was a very moving program. Froggy
