And not a moment too soon. She did enjoy her trip, and we're glad that she had the opportunity to spend time with family as well as enjoy some independence. But we're also glad that she's home.
So's the beagle. The Magginator looked exactly like the picture I posted a few days ago, and she pretty much hasn't let Otter out of her sight. The dog is just now, after about an hour of staring at Otter, content to be in another room instead of at Otter's side. Although she keeps making trips back to see that Otter is still here. Frasier was glad to see Otter, just not quite as insanely glad as the beagle.
Otter was starved when she got in, she went to the airport in SA shortly after breakfast and just had airline peanuts & a bag of fritos. So I took her through Arby's drive-through. After we got home and after she ate, she unloaded her suitcase right into the laundry hamper. I think I'll probably have two loads out of her stuff, the first is in now. Nana bought her a few things to wear, and her suitcase was about 5 lbs. heavier coming back from SA than it was when she left. She bought a few books and some other stuff while she was there.
Otter has already told me that she wants to sleep in tomorrow morning. Guess 10 days of nearly constant shopping will wear a girl out!
